RL Promotions to operate Cresco, Oskaloosa again in 2008; Torch to be passed at Bloomfield, Memphis 11/5/2007 - Officials from RL Promotions, LLC, have announced that the motorsports promotions and management company will continue to promote weekly racing and special events at both the Cresco Speedway and Southern Iowa Speedway in 2008. As part of today's announcement, however, officials also stated that RL Promotions has decided not to exercise their option to remain as promoter of the Bloomfield Speedway and the Scotland County Speedway. Shryock does The Dew, clinches O’Reilly USMTS Central Region title 8/3/2007 - Eight-time defending O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series national champion Kelly Shryock of Fertile, Iowa, notched another victory Friday night, capturing the 35-lap Holley "A" Main at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway. Ken Schrader at Bloomfield this Friday! 7/31/2007 - NASCAR Nextel Cup Series veteran Ken Schrader finished sixth in Tuesday night's standing-room-only O'Reilly USMTS show at the Cresco (Iowa) Speedway and will compete Wednesday night at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. On Tuesday, Schrader announced he'll make it a four-day trek by adding the show on Thursday at the Knox County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Ill., and Friday's tilt at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway.
