Banquet date approaching for Pepsi Scotland County Speedway
12/20/2007 - Banquet dates for four racetracks operated by RL Promotions in 2007 will be held in January and February of 2008. Class champions and top points finishers in the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series will be recognized, as well as several special awards being doled out to drivers, team members and sponsors.  (Full Story)
 
RL Promotions to operate Cresco, Oskaloosa again in 2008; Torch to be passed at Bloomfield, Memphis
11/5/2007 - Officials from RL Promotions, LLC, have announced that the motorsports promotions and management company will continue to promote weekly racing and special events at both the Cresco Speedway and Southern Iowa Speedway in 2008. As part of today's announcement, however, officials also stated that RL Promotions has decided not to exercise their option to remain as promoter of the Bloomfield Speedway and the Scotland County Speedway. (Full Story)

10/6/2007 - The 2007 season at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway came to a close on Saturday, with night two of the 3rd Annual Pepsi USRA Nationals being put into the books. Zack VanderBeek (USRA Modifieds and USRA Stocks), Jeff Waterman (USRA B-Mods), Bill Gibson (USRA Hobby Stocks), Ben Moudry (Outlaw Hobbys) and Bill Whalen (Hornets) each took the big paydays by claiming their feature wins. (Full Story)

10/5/2007 - What a great night for racing at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway, with temperatures in the lower 70's at race time on Friday during the 3rd Annual Pepsi USRA Nationals. Taking home feature wins on the night were Dean Mahlstedt (USRA Modifieds), Zack VanderBeek (USRA Stock Cars), Wyatt Lantz (USRA B-Mods), Jason McDaniel (USRA Hobby Stocks), Ben Moudry (Outlaw Hobbys) and Luke Davidson (Hornets). (Full Story)
 
3rd Annual Pepsi USRA Nationals set for Oct. 5-6 at Memphis
9/12/2007 - For the third straight year, the tiny rural community of Memphis, Mo., will be transformed into a mecca of race fans, cars and drivers as two big nights of racing are on tap for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 5-6, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway with the third running of the Pepsi USRA Nationals. (Full Story)
 
Season Championships rained out at Pepsi Scotland County Speedway
8/25/2007 - The Cunningham Fertilizer Season Championships, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway, were canceled due to extremely wet conditions. With the cancellation of the regular season finale, USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series track champions were declared in all classes. (Full Story)

USRA Late Model tripleheader to decide inaugural champion
8/20/2007 - The USRA Late Models will wrap up their inaugural season next week with a tripleheader to decide the inaugural USRA Late Model National Champion. It all breaks loose on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. On Friday, the lightning-fast men and their machines travel to the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway, then return to the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo. — home of the season opener and season finale that will see the crowning of the 2007 champ! (Full Story)
